Palitra News

Palitra News, a part of Palitra Media Holding, obtained B135 license following its authorization and started broadcasting on November 30, 2015.

Palitra News is an information channel wholly owned by Kviris Palitra. The latter was founded by Irakli Tevdorashvili (75%) and Zaza Buadze (25%).

Palitra Media Holding owns both television and radio licenses. The holding unites Interpressnews (IPN) news agency; ambebi.ge; bpn.ge; online television palitratv.ge; various sports and auto publications; Kviris Palitra newspaper; various tabloids; Elva Service, online book and magazine store; Biblusi bookstore, etc.

The shares in several companies united in the holding, including in Interpressnews news agency, are owned by Giorgi Tevdorashvili; the latter also owns 50% of shares in Tri-Media Intelligence (TMI), the company measuring television audience that is condemned by media watchdogs as conflict of interests. The holding owns radio and television frequencies and simultaneously, it is a co-owner of the television audience measuring company.
