TV Pirveli
Sports channel TVS opened its 2015 autumn season with a new name Pirveli TV and offered public-political programs to its audience. The channel changed its status and moved from specialized broadcasting to general broadcasting.
Sports still remains the channel’s priority, but some journalists from other channels, who recently joined Pirveli TV, launched public and political programs on the channel. Among them are: Inga Grigolia, whose talk show was closed down on Imedi TV and who now hosts daily news program on Pirveli TV, as well as Vakho Sanaia and Nino Zhizhilashvili, former journalists from Maestro TV, who are now anchors of Rviani news program on Pirveli TV.
TVS Ltd is wholly owned by Ketevan Japaridze, whose husband is the son of Avtandil Tsereteli, the owner of cigarette manufacturer.
